加拿大各地的房地产市场继续高涨，而首都渥太华的房地产市场也没有入秋降温，相反，日渐降低的气温反而加速了销售。 根据渥太华房地产委员会报告称，上个月渥太华出售了2,329处住宅物业，而2019年的9月仅为1,547处。

四个月来，来自多伦多的地产经纪Christopher Bibby一直苦恼于如何在多伦多的中心区出售一套面积435平方英尺的公寓，该公寓于3月正式挂牌上市，挂牌价格为$569,999加元，但上市后的头两个月却没有收到任何的约看消息。就在今年二月份的疫情以前，他刚刚以$580,000加元的价格出售了另一套相同面积、相同楼层户型且位于同一栋公寓的单位。

在豪宅随处可见的温哥华Point Grey社区，一栋有着神秘的老式好莱坞建筑风格的房子正在挂牌出租，成为本地租赁市场上独一无二的竞争者。

如果想要抓住低利率和疫情房市以低折扣入市的购房者可能需要再等一阵子。

来自TD Economics最新的一份住房报告预测，高房价将持续到2021年。经济学家Rishi Sondhi写道:“关于价格，我们认为它们将在第四季度保持在这些创纪录的水平上。”

温哥华市区的高房价从来都高到离谱，许多热爱市中心的人都对这块区域的房子望而却步，即使是在疫情持续的情况下，市中心的房屋销售和价格也么有受到大幅影响，反而在9月份还创下了新的记录。
